So this is what I did... still some bits to do, but these can be done afloat....
- Boarding ladder required..
Repaint inside of tender..
- Reinforcing plate for lock on sliding hatch..
New mast crutch - modelled on the old one but using a thicker timber..For lift out I modified the old one by drilling a new hole lower down - this moves the cross point down, and effectively makes the crutch stiffer - I think the old one is now fine as it is...Replace windexCompleted on lift out...Amplifier/speakers to play the MP3 player throughAmplifier arrived... speakers arrived... wired into power successfully...wooden speaker box to attach the component parts to now 100% completed and a successful method of fitting to the boat identified...Drain hole in tender needs fixing - drain hole bought, existing drain needs to be drilled out and the new one fitted...
Tiller extensionSome kind of bottle/cup holder for the cockpit- Some wooden battens are required below to allow me to store my sail bag and stuff so that it doesn't slide all over the place when heeled...
Re-fix port side headlining - it's come undone just inside hatch - just need to re-glue/screw it..
- Port side cam cleat needs looking at - not gripping properly...
- Re-splice anchor cable to chain...
Check radio aerial bracket - clouted it while going under the bridge! While the mast is down for 14. investigate options for raising and lowering mast - my mast head unit appears to have a pin at the front, that would be perfect for a permanently fitted halyard that I could use when raising/lowering the mast with the A frame - could it also be used as a halyard for some kind of cruising chute I wonder?Leaving my fixed point as the jib halyard, but will still put a pulley and line up there for possible use elsewhere...- Replace missing batten in Main
Cleat on port side coming needs to be tightened up - screw is loose - need a small person to fit down inside the quarter berth to hold nut from the inside...Recover mooringRe-Hammerite keelsFit pulley and line to the front bracket at the top of the mast - never know when it might be useful...Rub down and re-coat rubbing strip..
