Bloody cold...

Summer Sailing

..and I'm missing some sailing.. roll on the summer....
It's so cold I haven't even wanted to crack on with any work - the tender still needs another coat inside (or more) but the paint would never dry at these temperatures....

Ah well.. not long....

Separately - I have a launch date - April 7th and I'm first in....

The RYA Coastal Skipper theory  course is also wending it's way to a close... it really is the best way to "stay sailing" through a long cold, dark winter and another reason I'm looking forward to getting back on the water - I want to practice some of the stuff I've learnt..  just three lessons left to go, with half term I'll be finished in a month. Two exams done (& passed!) but we have the big one still to do (chart work, secondary ports, and some passage planning)... theoretically the last week is for round up, but the instructor calls it "re-take week"!!

"Laters" as my daughters are want to say....
